近日，香港艾力彼医院管理研究中心发布了“2017华人地区最佳医院100强”名单。新疆医科大学第一附属医院在“2017华人地区最佳医院100强”名单中位列第95位，也是新疆地区唯一入围的医疗机构。
1、指当地最高级别职称的医生人数。中国大陆指主任医师，香港指顾问医师，台湾指教授及主治医师，新加坡指高级顾问医师，澳门指顾问医生。
2、含外科ICU\NICU\CCU等。
3、中国大陆指卫健委所属医院，台湾指医学中心，香港指区域联网总医院，新加坡指卫生部属医院。
4、该项指标与医院的服务能力和效率相关。
5、与测算的最优床位使用率对比，越接近得分越高。
6、中国大陆指医院所在省以外的病人数，台港澳新指医疗旅游病人数。
7、本院医生在中华医学会、台湾医学会、香港医学会、澳门医学会、新加坡医学会担任主任委员/副主任委员的人数。
8、中国大陆指国家自然科学基金，台港澳新指当地最高科学研究基金。

目前，业界影响力较高的发布医院排行榜的机构有四个，分别是复旦大学医院管理研究所、北京大学医学部国家医疗数据中心、中国医学科学院医学信息研究所及香港艾力彼医院管理研究中心。
